The package says refrigerate after opening, and these were on unrefrigerated display in store, but the 2 packages I bought are gross. Smells bad, slimy, and texture and color are off. Clearly needs to be refrigerated.

I have half a small melon with Prosciutto for lunch when I am home. The grocery store where I do most of my food shopping was out of Prosciutto, so although we have a second grocery store in town (that I rarely use) I stopped there since I was completely out. The packaging was terrible. The paper between the slices only covered a small thin part of the slice. The slices were intermittently thick versus the thin slices I'm used to. On one half side of the package, where there was no papers between the slices was impossible to get apart with a knife, fork, or my finger nails. This left a really bad impression on a first time purchaser of your brand. It is unfortunate that I bought two packages and I will have to open the second package tomorrow.

Couldn't even use hald of all of the, completely overprice, entire 6 slices. Due to them sticking to the packing and ripping. I can gently peel bacon apart all day, this just fell apart. Completely ruined the mozzarella "wraps" I was snack prepping. Don't waste your money, unless you plan on eating it directly out of the package, for an outrageous price.

I tried this first in Hawaii as a late night snack from the ABC store. Yummy yummy ! I'm picky with prosciutto because i don't like it slices thick. These are perfect with the mozzarella so it takes away some of the saltiness. I had to search properly to find this one because the others i tried are nothing like it. They are on the expensive side so won't be eating as often as I would if the cost was down but you get what you pay for . A quality product with fresh meat and cheese.

It's even worse when you pair it with Hot Cheetos. Oh my goodness, I could sit and eat three packages of this stuff easily. I think it's an acquired taste for a lot of people, but I definitely acquired it fast and hard. Columbus does it best, too.

Packaging is ridiculous so you need scissors or knife to get it open- then you're mostly tasting just mozz cheese because it's 90% mozz and prosciutto is mild flavor so it's hidden. It's a pass for me- too expensive for just a package of what tastes like rolled mozz - once you get the pkg open without braking a nail. Good luck lol (also it says to select all pros & cons that apply but your system only allows you to select one. Stupid)

Pretty good prosciutto. I buy it regularly. Good flavor and texture. Like another reviewer, I don't like the fact that every slice is separated by a plastic sheet. Is there really no other packaging alternative to all that plastic?

Barely even cured. This meat just tastes like extra salty deli sliced ham.
